A dial up connection is a method of accessing the Internet.  When using a dial up connection your modem dials a number that connects your modem to an Internet server.  This connection is maintained until you disconnect.  By using a dial up connection you will not need to make any changes to your current phone line.  Modems are easy to come by and you will also need a service provider account.  Dial-up is the slowest type of connectivity methodology and usually incurs a telephone call cost.

Intouch offers 2 different types of 56K dial-ups:

1. MyChoice - for people who want to choose their own email address! For only R77 per month!
2. MyISP.co.za - MyISP.co.za - will only be required if you are planning to use dial up while traveling overseas
